Chicken pox- Day 3

Daniel looks better today :)))

Wednesday morning, I wasn't looking forward to Friday night, dad woke me up telling me I couldn’t go to the teen valentine banquet because I was contagious. I was looking forward to the formal. Then, when mom and dad got home from church they told me the good news, since there would only be a few people at the banquet and because I am contagious they decided to move it to the 17th. I was so happy, I really appreciate my youth Pastor and his wife. All the teens at our church, including me, are blessed to have them. :)))
As for Daniel, The itching continues, Dad is convinced I will also fall victim to the spots, the itching, and the calamine. If I do (I'm convinced that I wont), I'll watch Cary Grant, eat peppermint chocolate chip ice cream, and Mashed potatoes. Yes, mashed potatoes, some people like soup for comfort food, but all I want is a big bowl of hot and creamy potatoes. When Daniel gets sick he hates the thought of any food. He barely eats the soup that mom makes for him, but  being twelve I suppose chocolate ice cream is much more appealing.

Chicken Pox- Day 2

Thursday
I see spots before my eyes!
I went into Daniels room this morning to check on him, the spots had increased x100, he's having a hard time with all the itching and stinging, but I think the worst part for him is the calamine lotion, Why? I asked him, Because its PINK! Hehe He really hates how cold it is when I put it on his sores, he shivers up and down with discust with every dab of the dreaded... calamine.
Thankfully I still havn't broken out at all.
There are also perks when you have the chicken pox, ok, more like a perk, which is of course the chocolate ice cream. :)))

Chicken Pox- day 1

Wednesday
Daniel broke out Tuesday night. The dreaded chicken pox. We never had them when we were little, so I guess its our turn. He came in my room that night and showed me a bunch of red spots on his back, asking me if he had fleas (he was itching all over), without knowing what they were I touched him, I should have known that they were chicken pox. Ever since I was a kid chicken pox were really forign to me, just something kids got in movies, that kept them in their footie pajamas and out of school. And now at sixteen I've been exposed...
I havn't broken out yet, I may not, but I still have to stay home for a while. I kind of asked for it, I prayed for inspiration for my blog, and Tuesday night my inspiration popped up all over my twelve year old brother's back.
God answers prayers in the most interesting ways.
